Opened by the footballing legend's wife Barbara in April 2005, the £1.2 million Business Centre has been designed for light industrial and office use, offering a range of quality, affordable workspace for small and developing businesses. Housed in the former John Smith Works on Cotton Lane, Osmaston, it comprises of 19 separate units, ranging in size from 50 m2 to 266 m2.
All units are equipped with the latest developments in ICT, such as a 2MB broadband connection as well as being offered a range of complimentary facilities and business support services. Leases are structured on an 'easy-in, easy-out' basis in order to help developing companies whose requirements can often change in the space of a couple of years.
