Building Futures - Heanor Road, Ilkeston
The aim of the project is to bring into full commercial and public use a large semi derelict three storey late Victorian property sited at the bottom of Heanor Road, Ilkeston and adjacent to Ilkeston town centre.This will be achieved by:
Making safe, repairing and resurfacing the external rear car park
Repairing and cleaning the external walls of the building
Repairing, cleaning and painting the existing frontage
The Installation of a lift and staircase
Redevelop the first and second floors of the property tocreate: DDA compliant training / conference space and eight self contained managed work spaces.
The project has been awarded £142,550 by DDEP.
