The project aims to assist both start-up and existing businesses are eligible to apply for support, as are social enterprises. Business loans usually involve one or more visits to customers' premises and the proposed level of overhead funding (20% of the value of the loan fund) assumes that most of the business lending is no more than 10 to 15 miles from Derby city.All business loans are charged at 12% APR. (Loans for less than £1000 are charged at the personal rate of 25%).
The project has been awarded £158,000 by DDEP.
