Creative Industries Business Support Programme

This project brings together a range of strategic partners to deliver an integrated and comprehensive portfolio of business support activities for the Creative Industries sector in the City and County under the umbrella of the Creative Industries Network (CIN). Specifically, the project will provide:

The Implement the next two years of the business plan of the
Creative Industries Network and the establishment of CIN as the lead agency for delivering Creative Industries Support
across the DDEP area of Derbyshire.

The development of further events and services to provide networking and business development through peer to peer support and signposting support. To include specifically, but not exclusively:

  • 8 x business support workshops covering topics such as 'Export Ready', 'E-Commerce', 'Exhibition Planning and Organisation', 'Project Management' etc.
  • 18 x networking events held across the county, allowing members and creatives to meet and provide support and experiential advice.
  • 2 x annual showcasing 'meet the buyer' event where members are able to network with businesses from across the county.
  • Support and opportunities to attend design fairs and exhibitions, alongside CIN. E.g. 100% Design, Top Drawer, New Designers
      • Ongoing development of web-site, to update members with news and events, and promotion and marketing of www.creative-cin.co.uk to businesses across the region as a tool to search for creative services, a place to search for creative jobs and a source of information on funding, business opportunities, training and other sector specific information.
    • Development of CIN's capacity as a programme manager and support agency, moving the organisation towards sustainability and increasing the profile and legitimacy amongst public and private sector partners.
    • The expansion of the successful Focusing Creativity programmeacross the DDEP area
