Fast Track Construction
Designed to plug the widening skills gap in the building industry, Fast Track Construction delivers qualified tradesmen capable of working on site in just 12 weeks. Funded by the DDEP and delivered by a partnership between Minett Training and Derbyshire Learning & Skills Council (DLSC), each 12 week course has the potential to provide up to 200 young people and adults who are either unemployed or living in disadvantaged areas with training up to NVQ levels 1 and 2, hands-on work experience and a guaranteed job at the end of it. The project was approved for funding following a seven-month DLSC project to address the shortage of bricklayers in the County.Latest News & Events
