Rural Skills In The National Forest
Located near Hartshorne, South Derbyshire, this new training facility is setting about reviving the endangered arts of woodland and forestry skills. With DDEP support, the facility is open to people who want to work in the industry, landowners keen to understand the options their woodland presents and also to encourage people to start forest-related businesses. The courses in Rural Skills are run by Grangewood Forestry and Framing in association with Stephenson College and the National Forest Company.
