Facilitating the A50 Growth Corridor
This project will involve the development of a new multi-purpose leisure and sports facility on the site of John Port School in Etwall, Derbyshire. The physical developments will include 25m six lane swimming pool, of gala standard; six court sports hall, of national and badminton and basketball standard; a regional badminton facility with Olympic potential; Fitness suite; meeting rooms; café; parking; and hard/soft landscaping provision. Leisure/ sports facilities will be constructed to Sports England standards.The project has been awarded £495,000 by DDEP.
