Ripley Masterplan
The project produced a regeneration masterplan for Ripley which incorporated a series of development briefs for specific sites. The project addressed the need for holistic regeneration in Ripley, which has suffered from economic decline in recent years.
The infrastructure of the town was assessed and options for improvements considered in relation to the following:
• Vacant property and under-utilised land
• Accessibility
• Traffic congestion
• Town Centre shopping
• Quality and design of buildings and public spaces
The project has provided a blue-print for future regeneration in the town and will assist Amber Valley Borough Council in bringing forward projects over the next five years.
The project has been awarded £52,000 by DDEP.
