Bolsover Infrastructure Development Officer
The officer here is responsible for implementing actions for a number of regeneration projects in the Bolsover district. The Project Officer is engaging with partner organisations and developers to analyse and resolve barriers to expedite site development, manage relationships between developers and businesses and stimulate local procurement and supply chain opportunities as a result of the projects.The proposed projects have originated from Masterplan, action plans and feasibilities studies and are due to come to fruition over the next two to three years across the Bolsover District.
The schemes include public realm improvements, new and improved retail and leisure facilities and develop a business environment in the town centres to attract new investment.
The officer is concentrating on the development sites in Shirebrook and the proposed major investment from a food store. The officer is also looking at other larger sites across Bolsover District and making links with developers to encourage further investment.
The project has been awarded £104,275.00 by DEP.
