Sub Regional Investment Implementation Plan
This project follows the recommendations from the Regional Foreign Direct Investment Strategy commissioned by emda's International Investment Department in March 2006, and the recommendations of the DDEP Inward Investment Study, the former having been commissioned from Breeze Strategy and Tenon, and the latter from Breeze.The DDEP sub regional study concluded that there is a gap in the provision of inward investment services in the sub region, and that this gap in service places the area at a significant disadvantage against regional and national competitors.
The project contributes towards the following Services:
Derbyshire Property Search
In line with the regional strategy, DEP's property search emtrac produces a healthy response in terms of the number and quality of leads generated. The Derbyshire Property Search offers free service to Commercial Property Agents, Estate Agents and Developers.
Inward Investment
The project has a focus on investment in South Derbyshire where there are a significant number of sites and has had significant investment in recent years. The project match funds an inward investment officer in South Derbyshire.
