The Whitworth Centre
The Joseph Whitworth Centre in Darley Dale is a listed building and comprises a range of meeting rooms and sports/leisure facilities which serves the local community. This centre is currently undergoing substantial improvements, both outside and inside to bring the building back into full use. The funding awarded from DEP is for the refurbishment of the interior of the building including upgrading overall access and passenger lift, upgrading meeting and function rooms, creating a new cafe facility and sports/conferencing facility.This project was awarded £100,000 by DEP
