Hathersage Business Centre
The project will create a rural business centre by refurbishing existing derelict Grade II listed farm buildings, demolishing redundant sheds and developing 2 new build buildings,including car parking facilities and ancillary services as required by the businesses.Once complete, the business centre will comprise £14,500 sq ft of lettable space and will be home to between 15 and 20 small and growing businesses, which in turn are anticipated to provide employment for up to 80 people.
DDEP has provided 15% of the funds required for the project which fits within our Rural Plan to create an integrated rural economy and supporting new and growing businesses.
The project has been awarded £330,550 by DDEP.
