Broadband to Rural Areas - Closing Date: 01-04-10
Rural communities that do not have access to next generation broadband are set to receive a share of £1 billion of government investment. The Next Generation investment will upgrade the UK's digital infrastructure to bring super-fast broadband to 90% of the country.

FOLLOWING IN DARWIN'S FOOTSTEPS: SCHOOL GROUPS OFFERED CHANCE TO WIN UNIQUE TRIP TO GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
One group of UK students could be about to follow in the footsteps of Charles Darwin on a voyage to the Galapagos Islands. The trip is first prize in a competition being organised by the Wellcome Trust to celebrate the end of Darwin 200, the bicentenary of Darwin's birth.
