An introduction to the MAS – East Midlands and how it supports manufacturers develop skills – covering the free lean manufacturing training workshop programme.
9:40am Malcolm Healy – SEMTA
Malcolm will highlight the role of SEMTA, the Sector Skills Council for Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies, and explain how SEMTA can help you improve your business through development of skills within your workforce. In addition, he will outline the work of the National Skills Academy - Manufacturing and advise support available for manufacturing companies.
He will also outline the work of the National Apprenticeship Service and the Career Chain programme
