Derbyshire County Council have set aside a £100,000 fund offering grants of up to £1,500 to help Derbyshire residents learn new skills in the alternative energy industry.
It’s part of the wider Green Entrepreneurs Programme which is funded by Derbyshire County Council and run in partnership with the University of Derby to help support green economic recovery across Derbyshire.
The grant will allow individuals to study around their existing responsibilities. Applicants will demonstrate their plans for studying and gaining skills and qualifications in low carbon technologies that contribute to a net-zero carbon economy.
