Fitism kitchen expansion Leader case study.
Fitism is an established business and provides personal training, exercise classes, consultation room, sports massage facilities and a members café.
The project aims to grow the food and nutrition side of the fitness business at Riverside, Bakewell. This will be done through developing a new professional fit for purpose kitchen to increase café sales and sell and distribute Fitism health foods.
Without Leader funding the project would still go ahead but the timescales would increase causing further disruption to the day-to-day running and income of the business. The delay would be detrimental to the growth of the business in developing additional Fitism sites and extending the food range. The expansion will enable the business to develop and expand their customer base and increase the staffing on site.
